AI interior design platform: how we built Stueo, and can build one for your market

Half the villa is still under plastic, and the buyer has to see it finished. Stueo turns one photo of a room into a photorealistic finished design in minutes. We built it end to end, and we build AI products like it for other markets.

The problem: buyers cannot picture it

A kitchen under plastic sheeting. An empty room with bare walls. A bathroom that is still a concrete shell. The agency, the architect and the developer all need the buyer or the client to see the finished result before they commit, and a description does not do it.

Traditional visualisation is slow and expensive for professionals, and out of reach for most homeowners. So deals wait, approvals stall and renovations start without a shared picture of the end result.

Who this is for

  • Estate agencies and developers. who sell property before it is finished or furnished.
  • Architects and interior designers. who need to show several directions to a client quickly.
  • Renovation and construction firms. who want to win the job before the first wall comes down.
  • Founders and companies in other markets. who want the same kind of AI product built for their sector, language and brand.

What Stueo does

One photo of a room goes in. A photorealistic finished interior comes out in minutes, even when the room is mid-renovation.

  • Redesign in any style. Seven style directions from one photo, so one empty room can be shown in three different lives.
  • Clear and furnish. Clutter removed, the room furnished, the result shown on a before and after slider.
  • Walk through it. A walkthrough video of the finished space, with a cinematic reveal for a garden or terrace.
  • Hand over a client-ready package. A dossier engine writes a twelve-volume project package and exports it as PDF, DOCX, XLSX and ZIP, with white-label share links for professionals.

Stueo has a free plan with 10 redesigns each month at stueo.com, with subscriptions and a white-label professional tier above it.

How we built it

We built Stueo end to end. The architecture is the part that makes an AI product dependable in daily use.

  • Front end. React, Vite and React Query.
  • API. a typed REST API with a state machine for every design, so each job always knows where it is.
  • Identity. roles, invitations and an audit log.
  • Billing. checkout, plan changes and a billing portal.
  • Jobs. an async job runner that retries failed stages and repairs exports.
  • AI routing. one routing layer sends each job to the right image or video model, across seven models. When AI video fails, a motion fallback still delivers.
  • Dossier engine. fifteen stages that write the client package and check it before export.

The same approach works wherever a buyer has to see the result before committing: property, renovation, retail and hospitality. The StyleSpace case study covers the product in more detail.

What we build for you

Our product engineering and AI and agentic systems teams build AI products from the first prototype to production: the web app, the API, model routing and fallbacks, billing, identity, exports and the admin tools your team uses every day. We build it in your market, your language and your brand, and the code and IP are yours from the first commit.

What it costs

A Startup team starts at €7,900 a month and a Product team at €13,900 a month on a 12-month term. Individual seats run from €2,200 a month for QA to €4,500 for an architect. The team configurator shows the price of any mix before you talk to anyone.

Questions buyers ask

Can you build an AI interior design app for our market?

Yes. We built Stueo end to end and can build a similar product in your language, with your brand, styles and pricing.

How do you keep an AI product reliable when a model fails?

Each job runs through a state machine and an async job runner that retries failed stages. A routing layer picks the right model per task, and a fallback still delivers a result when AI video fails.

Who owns the code?

You do. Repositories, cloud accounts and design files belong to you from the first commit.

Can I try Stueo?

Yes. The free plan at stueo.com includes 10 redesigns each month.
